Foley of Man

This was a 2016 Global Game Jam project I designed with the same friend who programmed SearchParty and Wedgy. The game is a runner, but rather than control the protagonist (a candle) the user manipulates the environment to ensure the candle keeps moving right. However, the truly unique, and sometimes hilarious, aspect of this game is the sound. Before each level, the user is given vague descriptions and required to record a corresponding sound (think Mad Libs with sounds). Those sounds are then paired with the environment of the level. There’s a lovely level of satisfaction when you nail one, but most will have you rolling on the floor.
